GP Registrars
A GP registrar (a qualified hospital doctor) usually joins us each year to gain experience of general practice before being allowed to practice independently. In addition medical students from University College London Medical School, together with student nurses and midwives, join us to experience general practice. Patients will be asked to give consent if it is proposed to video their consultation for training purposes or if a student is to be present to observe.

Leads the nursing team and is a nurse prescriber. She has undertaken the minor illness and injury course and holds certificates in asthma, COPD care and diabetic nursing.

In addition to their areas of special interest and expertise, all of the practice nurses provide general nursing services and health promotion advice during surgeries by appointment from 08:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday.
LIBBY THOMAS
Libby is a general practice nurse who sees patients for routine and urgent demand nurse appointments daily. She is trained in the management of chronic disease (COPD and Asthma) and is an independent prescriber.
SARA DUGGAN
Sara is also a general practice nurse with an interest in cervical cytology and travel she is also a smoking cessation advisor. She sees patients for routine and urgent demand nurse appointments daily.

Mandy is responsible for the smooth running of the reception team and is your first point of contact if you have any queries over non-medical aspects of your care.
Reception
The reception and administration team are here to help you. Their responsibility is to ensure that all patients have equitable access to our resources and the smooth running of our organisation. Looking after so many patients and running many clinics simultaneously is often stressful and we appreciate your consideration. In order to assist you quickly and appropriately they may have to ask for more details about your condition. Please let them know if you change your name, address, telephone number etc. in order that our records for you and other members of your family are up to date. Our receptionists are bound by the same rules of patient confidentiality as the doctors and nurses.
Community Nurses

The District Nursing Team work closely with the rest of the team, operating out of the same building and have full access to our record system. They are involved in the care of patients who are housebound and unable to attend the surgery, but need nursing input in the community. The majority of their workload is the elderly, the terminally ill and patients who have recently been discharged from hospital. If you feel that you might need their involvement please ring them direct or speak to your GP.

The midwives attached to the surgery provide antenatal and postnatal care with the doctors. Clinics are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing. They work closely with the rest of the team and have full access to our records system.
